I grew up mostly in Sydney, Australia and did a lot of travelling with my parents. At the start of 2004 i left to live in China for a year studying Mandarin and haven’t lived in Australia since. After graduating i worked as a tour leader for a group travel adventure company for 3 years in China and Japan and then as a manager for 1 year in Tokyo. In the off seasons and between tours i continued travelling (and while on tour saw a lot of China and Japan).

At the moment i’m on a trip of indefinite length with my husband. We started in Japan in March 2009 and plan on heading west on a constantly changing itinerary until…something happens that makes us stop.
